Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder

A personality disorder, specified in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), that is characterized by maladaptive levels of scrupulosity, rigidity, perfectionism, preoccupation with work, inabi lity to delegate tasks, attention to detail, miserliness, and hoarding of unimportant objects. It is differentiated from obsessive-compulsive disorder in that anxiety is not the primary drive behind the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder.
