Objectivity/Objectivism
A philosophical approach that has multiple definitions, which are difficult to pin down. In general, objectivism refers to the assumption that truth exists independent of the human mind and is discovered through systematic observation of the environment. In science, the term implies that the investigator must be separate from the object of investigation and without bias.
