Locus of Control (Education)

The beliefs that people hold about the causes of outcomes. People with an internal locus of control believe that their own behaviors or attributes are influential in controlling outcomes. In contrast, people with an external locus of control attribute outcomes to unpredictable and/or uncontrollable external factors.
