Hands-On Learning
A strategy by which a student learns a concept through the use of manipulatives rather than the classroom lecture alone. It is a kinesthetic approach to learning. The physical manipulation of a concept aids the cognitive process by adding a physical experience through the student's senses. This strategy can be used in the teaching of all subjects.
