Abstract
In the United States, the Biden Administration is set to introduce new laws that will discourage the practice of imposing junk fees (hidden charges associated with purchases that consumers are often unaware of) across industries. This case study delves into the application of junk fees across various sectors and asks students to analyze their effect on consumers and the broader economy.
