Professor Justin Fisher discusses political trust and the different ways politicians can increase trust. Many people trust certain parts of government, such as their own member of Congress, but do not trust government as a whole. Fisher says it is hard to increase trust with citizens as a whole, because different institutions need different kinds of trust.
