In this documentary, Katy Weaver, a Health Play Specialist at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, discusses play as a therapeutic approach for children who are in preparation for surgery. The goal of play therapy is to distract children from surgery and relax them in a strange environment. Weaver introduces the Play Center and the useful tools and multiple uses for the center.
