      JANINE HALL: My name is Janine Hall,and I currently work for the Division of Youth correctionsin the state of Colorado.And I am what you call a clinical trainer.So I actually train all of the clinical staff thatare rehabilitating kids in the state of Coloradothat are currently in custody.Where I first started off, I was working with at-risk adults.

      JANINE HALL [continued]: I would say at-risk adults with underlying mental health issuesand things like that.And I had a friend that her and I were justcompleting our graduate degree and a master's in social work.And she was like, you know what, I'vebeen working with these kids in juvenile justiceand I think you would do really good at that.You would really like it.And I thought to myself, my god, why would I like that?

      JANINE HALL [continued]: Working with kids that have offended, criminally.I mean, ugh.But I decided to do kind of a ride along with her for a dayand fell in love with the adolescent population.And more importantly, kids that have problematic behaviorthat inevitably end up with criminal prosecutions

      JANINE HALL [continued]: and things of that nature.So quickly thereafter, I applied and ended upgetting kind of an entry level position.And although my experience reallywas more in the mental health field--I didn't have a lot of experience in corrections--but the entry level position allowedme to kind of get my feet wet, so

      JANINE HALL [continued]: to speak, with this population.And I literally fell in love.I have been there over 16 years nowand I never have a dull day.And honestly, I've continued my education and thingsof that nature, but I've never really thought seriously
