This chapter is concerned with the development of intelligent design skills afforded when approaching qualitative social research as a temporal process through a qualitative longitudinal (hereafter QLL) methodological approach.1 QLL research particularly brings to the fore a concern for temporal contexts and dynamic changes and analyses how emergent experiences or perspectives come into view.
