My two children with ASD, Marc (19) and Julia (17), have received their education through the public school system in Canada. They began their schooling on very different educational paths, but as they are nearing the end of their school years, those paths have converged and become the same. Both children have similar language impairments and cognitive difficulties, but they are very different people in regards to learning styles, temperament, interests, work ethic, and social skills.
