While an agreed-on definition of cybercrime currently does not exist, the concept generally refers to any crime facilitated or committed through the use of a computer, information systems, or other types of information technology devices. The term cybercrime also refers to unlawful activities involving the use of a computer as a target of criminal activity, the use of a computer as a tool or instrument to commit a criminal activity, and the use of a computer as incidental to a criminal activity.
