Yahoo
The development of the Internet, and e-commerce in particular, has been transformational in scale and scope since the advent of the World Wide Web in the mid-1990s. Some of the first e-commerce companies, such as Amazon and eBay, have created globally recognized brand names. Another early web pioneer is the search engine provider Yahoo, founded in 1994 by Stanford University students Jerry Yang and David Filo.
