International Society For Pharmacoepidemiology

The International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE) is an international organization whose aim is to promote public health by making available a forum for the open exchange of scientific knowledge for the expansion of policy, education, and encouragement for the field of pharmacoepidemiology, as well as such areas as pharmacovigilance, comparative effectiveness research, drug utilization research, and therapeutic risk management.

The ISPE, a nonprofit organization, is the scientific body that applies epidemiological methodology to study the use, value, effectiveness, and security of pharmaceuticals. It is committed to providing an impartial scientific forum for all parties interested in the improvement, delivery, costs, effects, and use of drugs.
