Visual culture is an expansive term used to describe the relationship that individuals establish with their visual environment. Public advertisements, the photographs or videos circulated on social media, images from political campaigns, comic book characters, music videos, and a whole range of objects and social practices make up what has come to be referred to as visual culture.
