Center on Media and Child Health

The Center on Media and Child Health (CMCH) is an academic center dedicated to investigating the relationships between the media used by children and adolescents and their health and development; translating that research into strategies for parents, clinicians, and educators; treating media-related problems of physical, mental, and social health; and innovating media tools and applications that promote children’s well-being. Based in the United States at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, CMCH seeks to understand how children use media and how they are affected, in positive and negative ways, by the media they use.
