Eating Disorders

Eating disorders in the United States continue to be a problem for millions of women and men. Eating disorders include various psychological disorders involving food intake and choices. The category includes anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. According to the National Eating Disorder Association in the United States, 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder at some time during their life. However, there are many individuals in the United States who have not been diagnosed with an eating disorder but have disordered eating and binge eating behavioral patterns.
