Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory
The Millon Clinical Multiaxial Inventory (MCMI) is a clinical self-report measure designed to assess personality patterns in context with experienced symptomatology common to mental health concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety). First introduced as a research instrument in the early 1970s, it was subsequently published as the MCMI for its first edition by National Computer Systems, now Pearson Clinical Assessments/PsychCorp, in 1977. The third edition, MCMI-III, a 175-true/false-item measure, was published in 2009. The fourth edition, structured and designed by its primary author, Theodore Millon, before his death in 2014, was completed by Seth Grossman and Carrie Millon, along with members of the Pearson development team, and published in 2015.
