I AM GOING TO DESCRIBE a particular type of awe-full moment, a moment that is brief, almost like a flash. It comes and goes in an instant. It can be accompanied with a sense of ecstasy, wonder, amazement, or compelling fascination. It can be accompanied with a sense of dread, terror, primal fear, or frozen nonbeing. These two feelings are like two sides of a coin that is the sense of awe.
