Forms of communication and transmission of information that use electronics to deliver the content to a user. Electronic form of transmission means that electrical energy can be used to move the content simultaneously and consistently to many users at the same time. It also means that information can be conveyed and retrieved in nonmaterial forms. Some common forms of electronic media include the telegraph, telephone, television, radio, and computers.
