Photography
The recording of light reflected off materials on media that can store this information and make it available later for reproducing a likeness of the material. The light is usually captured by a camera with a lens that focuses the light information on the recoding medium. Analog or film photography records on light sensitive emulsion coated onto plastic rolls that are processed with chemicals and used to make photo graphic prints. Analog photography was first developed in the early part of the 19th century.
