In this work, we delve into a computer simulation-based research methodology called agent-based modeling. This includes how each agent is defined, examples that illustrate the theory, and some of the models that came before it. Agent-based modeling draws on a variety of different fields, from computer science to evolutionary biology and artificial intelligence.
