Population: 44,689,000 (2018E—World Bank); 44,694,198 (2018E—U.S. Census).

Major Urban Centers (2016E—UN): BUENOS AIRES (15,334,000), Córdoba (1,519,000), Rosario (1,395,000), Mendoza (1,020,000).

Official Language: Spanish.

Monetary Unit: Argentine Peso (market rate October 19, 2018: 36.27 pesos = $1US).
