Note: In the September 23, 2012, balloting for the 110-member House of Representatives (Palata Predstaviteley), the Communist Party of Belarus won 3 seats, the Agrarian Party 1 seat, and the Republican Party of Labour and Justice won 1 seat; 104 seats went to independent candidates, although domestic and international media report the expected creation of a progovernment bloc as after the 2008 election. In one voting district, corruption charges against the only registered candidate led to an official announcement that the election would be delayed to an unspecified date. Reportedly, only 21 incumbents were reelected in 2012.
