Note: In July 2011 the Nevis Island Administration held its general election, at which time the Nevis Reformation Party retained its 3–2 majority over the Concerned Citizens’ Movement (CCM). Two seats, including the seat of Deputy Premier Hensley Daniel, were won by fewer than 35 votes. The CCM filed an election petition with the courts challenging the results of the election, and a trial date was set for August. The August trial date was postponed to November, which was also postponed. The trial is now scheduled for mid-January 2012.
Note: Both versions of the name are official, although “Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis” is preferred.
