Note: In the two-stage Legislative Chamber election held December 27, 2009, and January 10, 2010, only progovernment parties were permitted to offer candidates. The Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan won 53 of the 150 seats in the expanded lower house. The People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan won 32; the Milli Tiklanish Democratic Party, 31; and the Justice Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, 19. Fifteen reserved seats were indirectly filled by the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan.
