Note: In parliamentary elections on March 7, 2010, the Iraqi National List won 91 seats, followed by the State of Law coalition, 89; Iraqi National Alliance, 70; Democratic Patriotic Alliance of Kurdistan, 43; Change, 8; Iraqi Accord Front, 6; Iraqi Unity Alliance (a new, electoral coalition led by Jawad al-Bolani), 4; Kurdistan Islamic Union, 4; and Kurdistan Islamic Group, 2; independents and minorities, 8. Negotiations on the formation of a new government continued through April, 2010.
