Note: According to results validated by the Constitutional Court despite objections from opposition parties, the governing Rally of the Togolese People (RPT) won 50 seats in the October 14, 2007, balloting for the National Assembly, followed by the Union of Forces of Change (UFC) with 27 seats and the Action Committee for Renewal (CAR) with 4 seats. President Faure Gnassingbé subsequently announced that the RPT would consider forming a coalition government with the UFC and CAR.
