Note: In balloting for the National Assembly on March 31, 2007, the propresidential Cowry Forces for an Emerging Benin secured 35 of 83 seats, followed by the Alliance for a Democratic Dynamic with 20 seats and the Party of Democratic Renewal with 10 seats. Legislators from a number of smaller parties subsequently announced they would support President Boni Yayi in the assembly, thereby giving him a working legislative majority. Yayi announced a reshuffled cabinet on June 17.
