    Note: In the parliamentary election held on November 30, 2014, the newly formed Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova led the balloting with 20.5 percent of the vote, securing 25 seats in parliament. The remaining seats were distributed as follows: the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova, 23; the Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova, 21; the Democratic Party of Moldova, 19; and the Liberal Party, 13. As of early January 2015, a new ruling coalition had yet to be announced.
