    President: János ÁDER; elected (as the candidate of the Federation of Young Democrats–Hungarian Civic Alliance and the Christian Democratic People’s Party [FiDeSz-MPP]) in first-round balloting by the National Assembly on May 2, 2010, sworn in for a five-year term on May 2 and assumed office on May 10, succeeding Pál SCHMITT (FiDeSz-MPP).
