    Note: Friction within the Georgian Dream (GD) governing coalition culminated in the dismissal by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili of Defense Minister Irakli Alasania (Our Georgia–Free Democrats) on November 4, 2014. Foreign Affairs Minister Maia Panjikidze and State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Alex Petriashvili resigned in solidarity with Alasania (the three were considered the leading proponents within the cabinet for closer ties with the European Union and NATO), and Our Georgia–Free Democrats subsequently announced it was withdrawing from the GD.
