Facing mounting criticisms of censorship from conservative lawmakers, representatives from three of the largest technology companies, Twitter, Facebook, and Alphabet, Inc.—parent company of Google and YouTube—came before the House Judiciary Committee in the summer of 2018 to explain their policies on content moderation.
