■ Introduction

The Department of the Interior’s Minerals Management Service (MMS) was renamed the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) in June 2010. On October 1, 2010, the revenue collection arm of the former MMS became the Office of Natural Resources Revenue (p. 825). Effective October 1, 2011, BOEMRE was divided into two separate organizations; the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) (p. 815) and the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE).
