The Office of Environment, Safety, and Health, created in 1985, became the Office of Health, Safety, and Security (HSS) in August 2006. In 2014 the HSS was divided into two separate organizations: the Office of Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) and the Office of Enterprise Assessment (EA).
