Abstract
This case focuses on Angie, an employee who was fired from a company because of the inappropriate content she shared on her Facebook page. It is increasingly common for companies to use social networks to screen potential employees. However, readers must determine whether companies are right to monitor the social media accounts of current employees and whether they can be used as justification for letting employees go.
