Abstract
More than two years of a global pandemic immediately followed by war in Europe has stalled many nations’ economic recovery plans, with inflation driving up costs of energy and essential goods and shifting many households across the world into much tighter budgets as they face financial uncertainty This case takes a look at how inflation is being addressed in the U.K., where recent measures have been passed to help alleviate the strain on residents, and asks students to discuss the efficacy of the measures and the likelihood of other nations following suit.
