Abstract
Pepperfry, an online retailer in India, is a market leader in online furniture retail but is facing increasing competition from other online furniture retailers, online marketplace retailers, and services like furniture rental and exchange services. The entry of Swedish furniture behemoth IKEA in the Indian market has further increased competition. Pepperfry is examining its business strategies to maintain its market leader position and repay institutional investors.
