Abstract

Narendra Bhatt, a fund manager at Westspring Investments, is exploring investment opportunities in emerging markets. Westspring Investments is a Singapore-based fund management company managing assets of USD 200 billion with a mandate to invest primarily in Asian markets. Narendra is managing USD 20 billion of these assets and is contemplating investing in Indian equity markets. He evaluates size anomaly as a portfolio trading strategy to decide whether investing a part of his investment funds in India would generate positive returns for his fund.
