Abstract
This case looks at the abrupt attention that fell on a small family-owned lawn care business after it found itself in the national spotlight as the site of a Republican-led press conference the day the U.S. general election was called in favor of Joe Biden. The gaffe immediately went viral, and the business, Four Seasons Total Landscaping, quickly monetized the opportunity by launching—and selling out—a line of merchandise. Students are asked to discuss Four Seasons’ savvy handling of the unexpected publicity.
