SHRM case collection

A cornerstone of SHRM’s complimentary teaching resources for HR faculty, the SHRM case collection focuses on a broad variety of topics that aspiring HR professionals should study and while earning a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Each case is linked to the HR Competency Model that defines the behaviors an HR professional should refine and master in order to progress from one career level to another within the HR profession. The cases are designed to acquaint students with typical issues or problems an HR practitioner may expect to encounter in daily work. Each case includes teaching notes and supplementary materials that enable learners to refine HR knowledge and the ability to apply that knowledge to resolve common—and sometimes not-so-common—workplace issues.
