Abstract

Bijoypur Silk Khadi Seva Sanstha (BSKSS) is the primary seller of garad silk, but with consumer preferences changing, a promising industry must address concerns from production to branding. BSKSS, however, markets Mirjapur silk, a product that may be able to drive growth for the company. To adapt and overcome environmental threats, including competition from imports, BSKSS must also determine other survival strategies.
