Chapter 10: The Future of Health and Social Care Services
As we reach the end of this second edition it is important to take stock of the current picture with regard to health and social care in general, but also to look at workforce issues and the implications that this might have as you reach the end of your course. As suggested earlier in the book, the current picture is complex with a process of rapid change meaning that the health and social care sector in 10 years' time is likely to be very different from the one of 10 years ago.
