I didn't have no family before I was married. My mother died when I was five, my father died when I was six, and I was switched here and yonder and everywhere. My mother's sister was mainly responsible for raising me. There were thirteen children in her family—three girls and ten boys. She kept me from the time I was five years old until I was ten.
