This five-session module has the object of increasing children's sense of self-esteem. This is a seen as a vital basis for achievement at school, and for sound emotional health in life. The module also prepares the children for the last module, ‘I can express what I need’, since it is from a position of feeling comfortable with oneself that one can be proactive about one's needs.

The content within this module develops through the introduction of a character, Jake, who may have some of the same feelings as the children.
