This chapter describes a combination of short-term interventions designed to prevent the development of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). It is intended for use as a crisis intervention model with people who have experienced a recent traumatic incident. The model was originally designed for short-term interventions in workplace counselling, however it can easily be adapted for use in a wide variety of settings.
