Leadership Profile Indicator—Health (LPI-HB)
32.1 The Instrument and its Administration
Leadership Profile Indicator—Health (LPI-HB) assesses leadership styles and effectiveness of persons managing TB control. It consists of 12 situations, each posing a problem for the organisational leader. Each has four alternative strategies of managing the problem given. The respondent is required to select one strategy that he would use if he were the leader in that situation.
The respondent reads each situation, then the four alternatives, and records his response on the answer sheet by encircling the alternative he would adopt as a leader. Thus, there will be 12 encircled responses for a respondent, one for each situation.
