The Second Phase: Enlightenment
The second phase of an effective lesson plan for learning in the block, Enlighten the Learner, lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes and is grounded in the facets of a brain-compatible classroom as outlined by Williams and Dunn (2008) and discussed in Chapter 2, specifically facets 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8.
