Adapting to different situations and dealing with endings

Cognitive behaviour therapy methods need to be adapted in various ways for many people with an eating disorder, especially in cases where the difficulties are long-standing and where there is comorbidity. This chapter will address the issues raised by difficulties encountered in the therapy process and by the end of therapy, whether it comes from a mutual decision or from an individual decision, by either the therapist or the client.
