The Eurovision News Exchange is a distribution network for television news pictures and a part of the general Eurovision programme exchange system that is organized by the European Broadcasting Union, EBU, the European organization of national, public service broadcasters. The Eurovision News Exchange distributes news items between all national public service broadcasters in western and (since January 1993) in eastern Europe.
