We looked at the types of questions asked and at attempts to answer them in the area of cognitive psychology, in the field of neuroscience, in the development of artificial intelligence, and in the discipline of linguistics. Our final chapters, addressing the domain of philosophy, take us full circle, back to questions we asked at the beginning.
